The Original Sin. When Adam and Eve ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. And when Adam and Eve received there names. They had it all then they where kick out of the garden. God set the cherubim and the flaming sword to keep others from eating of the tree of life.

Psalms was a reminder of God being on your side against those against you.

In Matthew we see the story of the wise men from the east that came and worship Jesus. They too had dream to warn them. Jesus did a lot of moving them from Egypt then to Nazareth.

In Genesis 2 the story of man and woman was told. The interesting thing is that in the version God first created man then the plants and animal, and finally woman.

The Psalms chapter talk about rulers and a warning that those who rule should rule in God or else. Hint hint to our government! Stop taking God out of our country!

In Matthew, Joseph found out Mary was pregnant before they got married and was going to leave her. But an angel of God told him the the child was Jesus, so they got married. And it did mention that Joseph did “know” Mary after Jesus was born. Does this mean Jesus had siblings?

The Catechism told of everyone’s need to spread the work of God and that the Catechism was mad to help with this task. It was a work in which was centuries in the making.

I Started on New Years with this good task. I am doing a prayer before and meditation afterwords.

When I read Genesis chapter one, I was reading a story that I have read before. The thing that stood out most is how the Bible I was reading described the dome as “firmament”. I also was interested in how God did not describe anything as good until Earth was created. Lastly, how when God created the sun and moon; he gave them the rule over Earth, and night and day. I never thought of these things.

Psalms talked about the two paths, one good and one evil. Particularity reminding me to meditate daily in God’s Law. This is something I must remember.

In Matthew I read the long lineage of Jesus. 14 between Abraham and David and the Babylon time. 14 three times.

The introduction to the Catechism of the Catholic Church talk about what lead up to the creation of this text. Mainly for a book that gives Christians all catholic doctrine regarding both Faith and Morals. This will be very helpful.
